PLEASE NOTE: Due to the Ontario Government’s Guidelines, limited numbers can gather at this event. Please RSVP to Zoey at zoeyfiksel@gmail.com if you or your family members plan on joining us.In order to mitigate risks of COVID-19, we ask that only those who have been fully vaccinated attend this event. No children under 12 years of age (given they are not eligible for vaccination). Everyone will be asked to wear a mask.
Yizkor ServiceThe Executive is in the process of planning the Society’s annual Yizkor service . We will send an email with more information in the coming weeks on how you can attend whether it be virtually or in person.
Chanukkah PartySAVE THE DATE

Pending public health guidelines and the current COVID-19 situationWe are hopeful that we will be able to gather together in November to celebrate Chanukkah. As the event is attended by children we are waiting and watching for public health guidelines as we move into the fall. Stay-tuned for updates and more info!

The Executive continues to meet throughout the year to conduct Society business. As one of the most important mandates of the Society remains giving back to the community and those in need, we continue to donate to worthy causes. Chai LifelineWe would like to highlight a specific donation made in the last year to the United Jewish Appeal of Greater Toronto – Race Against Time which works to ensure Holocaust survivors are living out their years with dignity. The society made a donation of $10,000 to this important cause in 2020.

There may be an opportunity for pick up on Friday, September 3 if coordinated with Jess Faust at (416) 271-8834.

Hundreds of friends and families will picnic together in their own homes/backyards with delicious brunch meals provided all in support of the Mount Sinai Hospital NICU.HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?
On the website, you can choose from three brunch menus, select your quantity, and a brunch kit will be delivered to you containing your meal and lots of additional items like a Doodle Roll , Balzac’s coffee, donuts, cookies and more. In addition, you can choose from lots of fun add-ons to enhance your brunch. Every add-on has been donated, so by purchasing them, you’re donating directly to the NICU.
